Do you have a leading brand community? Are you a community manager? Then I have the survey for you. I have been lucky enough to have the opportunity to assist Sean Moffitt and a team from nGenera in writing a paper on brand communities.
We have been speaking to online community managers, gurus, developers, planners and evangelists who are contributors to the world’s leading brand communities about community building and business.
The 2009 Brand Communities Survey has been broken down into nine sections. The sections are; the basics, focus and objectives, audience and outreach, incentives, rules, tools and platforms, staffing, metrics and ROI and overall advice.
Communities are failing just as often as they are succeeding. Our hope is the results from the research we have been doing, will show a reason why some brand communities are succeeding while others are failing.
If you are currently involved in a brand community take the 2009 Brand Communities Survey and be entered in our draw and a top line version of the results. We would love to hear from more people involved in brand communities and their experiences and insight.
