Announcements & Events

Spreads Like Wildfire makes its debut today as a companion site to my blog Buzz Canuck. For too long, we’ve kept some of the really cool stuff inside Agent Wildfire’s four walls to ourselves. With new staff, new clients and new initiatives, we have a lot to talk about, so we decided we needed our own shingle.

We’re also glad to providing a wealth of really smart and some new voices talking about how we think differently inside Agent Wildfire and why the industry should perk up and notice a different conversation taking place here.

Sure, blogs may have taken a backseat to social networks, microblogs and other 2.0 tools in the last couple of years, but they remain one of the most effective methods to share honest ideas, provide relevant news and spark fresh thoughts with our future employees, clients, stakeholders, journalists, analysts, fans and industry brethren motivated by understanding the new participation marketplace, influencer culture and customer world.

As one of Canada’s most progressive marketing, media and research firms and word of mouth experts, Agent Wildfire’s mission here is to share…
  • Key ideas about the word of mouth industry - all of it on display - social media, user generated content, buzz building, experiential marketing, advisory panels, social networks, brand communities, influencer campaigns,  referral and affiliate programs, grassroots causes and new engagement media
  • Common sources of debate, creativity and questions that come up among our staff,  prospects and clients regarding this new frontier
  • Non-confidential client work, learnings and case studies
  • Very cool new job opportunities and upcoming initiatives for industry colleagues and digital, grassroots influencers alike to digest and consider
  • Fun stuff that can happen when you get a group of mavericks, mavens and attention magnets together for the common purpose of getting our clients noticed, talked about and advocated
Some of this will sound salesy, other posts will be schmaltzy, forgive us ahead of time - we are just way too passionate about this stuff and believe it should be in the repertoire of every red blooded marketer.
